I hate cleaning the microwave, it takes forever and is just another task I could do without. These covers limit cleaning to the rotating glass , which is the easiest part the clean. They are large enough to cover a dinner plate, tall enough to cover a bowl, and are easy to clean also. I do not know how I lived without them!Well designed with an ample amount of venting holes. Easy to handle and rinse clean if need be. I use it every day. This simple but useful item keeps the microwave clean and saves on wax paper, paper towels or whatever you might use to cover what you are reheating.This dish cover is awesome. You put it over your plate or dish or microwave dinner and there is no mess in your microwave. I do recommend using a hot pad or paper towel when removing the cover as it has steam holes in it and it can get hot. The cover is very easy to clean, just wipe it out. Must buy… they keep microwave clean!This item is sturdy and so easy to clean. Regret not buying one sooner. I hand wash mine and it's so much easier than cleaning the microwave!Absolutely happy with this product especially compared to the last one I had...its a good size...fits over all my plates etc well...very good quality...and it has a guarantee on it (provided you register it online)...!!!Had this for almost 4 years now and use it quite bit. It is light, see through and convenient. The reason for the lower stars is that the plastic on the top surface has been distorted by heat from microwaving. It has numerous humps and hollows. To cover has not been near any heat source other than food in the microwave. I think this occurs when the food is close to the cover. I am careful to avoid having food touch the cover, but sometimes it is close, and that seems to be where the plastic softens and deforms (presumably from overheating). This is not high heat from microwaving fatty/fried food, but from warming or cooking vegetables, rice, a potato, etc. The temperature of the plastic can presumably not be much above 100 C (boiling point of water).Other than that, I would have liked a higher/taller design. I often have to arrange my food so that it does not touch the cover.Good and cheap microwave splatter covers. Has vents and handle. Durable. High for most food. Wash them in the dishwasher no issues even on high heat mode. So strange that Amazon carries them but I've been to half a dozen stores and nowhere to be found. Walmart, various dollar stores, superstore, Home Depot.... no where to be found. This is why Amazon is taking over.For small plates this cover is great. But for bowls or bigger plates the cover is not tall enough, so the food ends up touching the inside of the cover. Furthermore there are not enough vapor holes - and the ones that are included are too small - to let sufficient heat out so tons of condensation forms when you heat something for two minutes or longer, causing water to drip everywhere in the microwave, etc. Durable plastic and easy to clean though.I have a small microwave and was looking for a smaller than average microwave splatter cover. This one is well made, doesn't look as cheap as some other ones I've seen. Although I know the measurements, I was still surprised by how tiny and adorable it looked in real(in a good way), and the size is just perfect for what I need.It is a bit on the expensive side, but it's not a big issue. I'd rather spend a few more bucks to get something that perfectly fits my needs.
