I had bought some of these kind of bowl huggers from another company. They were different colors which was pretty and they worked great, but I decided I wanted black ones in case food spilled on them. Black would not show a stain. These are just what I want and they work like a charm to protect me from hot bowls. If something spills on them no problem, they do not stain. I have washed them and they did not fade or bleed in the washer. I like them so much I ordered some to give my daughter for Christmas.Easy to use. Prevents burning on hands.I use this product to take bowls out of microwave or oven,For taking the hot stuffs from microwave… or take the foods after cooking….These have saved my fingers from burns more than once. I gave one to each of my daughters and kept the other ones. If food gets on it, I use dish detergent and wash it and lay it on the counter to dry. It will also catch spills if food boils over.I love how these protect my hands from getting burned when removing a bowl of soup, etc. from the microwave. Genius Idea and they come in different sizes for plates as well.I didn't like the price. However, these work great and are nice looking.As advertised. Would recommendexcellent....
