Using silicone bowl for weighing grains and other bulk foods. Bowls often slide around my slippery glass scale, or i accidentally knock them over. This bowl doesn't have super strong suction, but enough where it stays put; not sure how well it would stand up to an active toddler. Easy to wash, but you'll need to pay extra attention to the area between bowl and suction disk, because sometimes grime collects there.
