I purchased the green and blue versions of these bowls. They are a perfect for more solid dishes like stews, mac-n-cheese, and ice cream. However, when it come to ramen or soups, they're a little wide to sip from without spilling some from the corners of your mouth. I still use them primarily for ramen as I have the mouth of a whale-shark (wife's words, not mine). The only regret I have is that through my searching for the perfect bowl, I got mixed up and ordered the version without the lids. While it won't make me send them back and re-order the correct ones, I think that for an extra dollar, it's better to go that route. Alas, there seems to be no way to order just the lids. If anyone from Adewnest reads this and they are available, please let me know and you'll have another sale. The only other point to note is that these are definitely on the larger/heavier side. If you have smaller hands or weaker wrists, you might look elsewhere unless you eat at the table all the time and can set it down. We use these primarily while kicking back watching the latest YTs or movies (gotta be able to multitask). Also, I have large hands, which of course you know what that also means...I wear large gloves. I generally hook my thumb through the handle and cup my hand under the bowl. Since they are oversized for a single person (except Sumo wrestlers), there's less chance of spillage when jumping at a scary scene. nom~nom~nom.Anywho, hope this helps you're decision to purchase one way or another. YMMV.
